Abstract: | 隨著技術快速變化及產品系統逐漸複雜化,組裝廠很難獨?完成整個產品系統的設計。另一方面,隨著產業垂直分工的發展趨勢,元件廠商的角色日益重要,有些廠商的影響?甚至超過「組裝廠」的角色。?如,個人電腦產業的Intel,或自??產業的Shimano。然而,以往的研究仍大多聚焦於「開發產品系統的組裝廠」層次,較少觸及元件廠商。 90?代科技管??域,發展出「產品結構(product architecture)」??,有效地解釋企業解決產品複雜化和分工問題。事實上,為?因應產品系統朝「多樣化、客製化、複雜化」的方向發展,元件廠商也面?該如何選擇產品結構定位,建構組織能?以因應多樣化、客製化的需求和解決複雜化的問題。有鑑於元件廠商的產品結構?型?同,呈現?同的獲?和競爭優勢。藤本(2003, 2004)根據產品結構??,發展出提出四種產品結構定位策?的?型,試圖解釋產品結構定位與企業獲?、競爭優勢的關?性。?過,藤本的研究僅提出概?性架構,並未提出「衡?產品結構?型」的方法,同時,藤本也未探討元件廠商選定元件產品結構的方法,以及產品結構的動態變化。本計畫的目的在於提出「衡?產品結構?型」的方法,並從企業內部??和市場??的觀點,探討企業選定產品結構的過程,以及結構的動態變化。 The rapid changing on technologies and product system complexity has make today’s component suppliers unable to develop a complete product alone. Such a trend results a vertical division of labor in a supply system. However, as the capabilities of suppliers getting larger, a component supplier could be more influential than its assembler, e.g., Intel and Shimano in PC and bicycle industries, respectively. Past research usually focuses on studying the research subjects of assemblers, rather than on component suppliers. Product architecture theory was developed in 1990s to resolve the issues of production complexity and disintegration. However, as today’s products become more diversifying, customization, and complication, component suppliers are facing problems of positing strategy, building organization adaptability, and customizing customer’s needs, and resolving system complexity. Though Fujimoto developed four positioning strategies to explain the relationships between product architecture, enterprise revenue, and enterprise competencies, classification and measurement of product architecture are not investigated. The capability of component suppliers on the selection and dynamics of product architecture was not studied, neither. The objective of this project is to develop an approach to classify and measure the product architecture from a perspective of enterprise’s and market powers. The other objective of this project is to explore the process that component suppliers select the pattern of component architecture, and to explore the dynamics of component architecture shift. |
