Abstract:	本文將以新古典現實主義(Neo-classical Realism)分別探究自冷戰後，美、中兩國領導階層（個體層次）以及政府（整體層次）在東亞區域競合的舞台上，彼此是以何種角度與觀點來看待對方的行為，並透過『權力』(power)的運作，影響對外政策在決定上所做出改變、調整與回應，而東亞區域將如何回應兩大強權在東亞內的競合。
