台灣官辦展覽的開辦揭開台灣美術近代化,東洋畫在日本教育與官展的催生下粲然綻放,成為台灣美術近代化運動中的一個獨特畫種,雖然最後在歷史遷移下退出台灣美術主流地位,但在台灣掀起的榮況與成果仍是台灣美術近代化重要的一部分。日治時期「地域色彩」議題引發的創作熱潮,延續到今成為「鄉土色彩」的前身,「地域色彩美人畫」在文化雜柔的氛圍下發展出不同於其他形式的「地域色彩」。 經由檢視、分析台灣官展入選的「地域色彩美人畫」風格發展,再進一步以獲賞的作品作更深入的分析,並對長期以「地域色彩美人畫」為創作的獲賞畫家,其官展期間各型態的作品之間的風格發展作比對,最後透過對台灣社會環境、台灣畫家學習東洋畫的環境、官方審查員的背景,探討台灣官展「地域色彩美人畫」發展與風格形式。本文嘗試指出「地域色彩美人畫」風格、形式的轉變與社會轉變關係密切,一旦生活環境產生變化,新的表現形式也將因應而生,而台灣的殖民地身分讓「美人畫」在「地域色彩」這個議題裡發展出不同的「地域色彩」形式。 Taiwan's government-run Taiwan art Exhibition with Modernization opening. Toyo painting optimized by Japanese education and Taiwan Art Exhibition, performs a unique painting style during the modernistic Art Movement in Taiwan. Although Toyo painting seem left the mainstream of Taiwan art, the glory and achievement experienced is the important part from Taiwan Art Modernization.Issues from Japanese colonial period "Regional Flavor" caused the creative boom, continuing to become as predecessor of "Local Flavor "."Portrait of Beauty with Regional Flavor" developed from the miscellaneous cultural to other style of "Regional Flavor".I review and analyze the overall style development of "Portrait of Beauty with Regional Flavor" selected from the official Exhibition in Taiwan, further to make in-depth analysis with the award-winning work. Further comparison with “Portrait of Beauty with Regional Flavor” that painter created by long-term efforts and various types of work styles developed during Art Exhibition. In the end, I probe into the development and style form passed through the understandings of social environment in Taiwan, the educated environment how Taiwanese painters learn Toyo painting and the background of the official examiner.This paper attempts to point out that the conversions of characteristic and style of “Portrait of Beauty with Regional Flavor” and changes on society become close relationship relatively. Based on this transformation, new forms expressed will be born accordingly and it means the “Portrait of Beauty” represented by Taiwan's colonialist developing with various "Regional Flavor" on this topic.
