The primary purposes of this study are: (1)to explore the effects of the impact of KM on the performance, (2) to identify the existence of KM strategic groups and the differences among these groups, (3)to isolate the source of asymmetrical mobility barriers amogn KM strategic groups, in Taiwan’s healthcare idustry. The results indicate that the effects of KM on performance is positive, there exists 4 KM strategic groups, significant differences are found among these groups, and finally, the source of asymmetrical mobility barriers include “internal learning,”, “external learning”, “incremental learning” and “learning speed”.
