本研究以台灣中部地區五間教會為主要研究對象,所屬教會包含三個宗派。總共發出191份問卷,有效問卷140份,有效問卷佔回收總問卷之73.3%。本研究以教會領導者特質與教會更新對教會功能及教會成長影響之探討;教會更新變項包含:信徒生命更新(個人部分)及教會影響社會更新(組織部分);教會經營績效:包含教會管理績效(管理功能)、領導者服事績效(領導者特質、服事成效滿意度)及教會成長指標(主日禮拜出席人數、教會收入)為主。本研究結果顯示:(1)教會更新對教會功能有明顯影響: 1.信徒生命更新(個人部分)與教會功能(敬拜功能、團契功能、教育功能、事奉功能、宣教功能) 有正面影響,且達統計上顯著水準。 2.教會影響社會更新(組織部分)與教會功能有正面影響,且在敬拜功能、團契功能、宣教功能達統計上顯著水準。(2)教會更新對教會經營有明顯影響: 1.對教會管理績效有正面影響,且達統計上顯著水準。 2.對領導者服事績效有正面影響,且達統計上顯著水準。 3.對主日禮拜出席人數有正面影響,且達統計上顯著水準。 4.對教會收入有正面影響,且達統計上顯著水準。(3)本研究台灣中部五間教會教會領導者特質之研究結果顯示: 1.教會領導者中88.6%屬於內控型人格特質。 2.教會領導者低度自我警覺有128人,佔總人數99.22%。 3.在AB型人格特質部分,教會領導者中A型人格特質最多,有79人,佔總樣本數60.8%;B型人格特質51人,佔總樣本數39.2%,從資料顯示,教會領導者中A型領導者人格特質居多。 In this research paper the researcher takes five churches which include three denominations in middle Taiwan as the research objects. There are totally 191 questionnaires and there are 141 available questionnaires. The available ones are 73.3% in all of these questionnaires. The research goal is to find out the influence of church leaders personality traits and churches renewal on the church function and the church growth; the factors of the churches renewal includes disciples’ lives renewal ( the personal part) and the influence of the churches on the society renewal ( the organization part); the church administration results includes the church management results ( the management function), the church leaders’ work results ( the church leaders personality traits and work satisfaction.), and the church growth index ( the church attendance on Sunday and the income of the church )The research results show:(1)The influence of the church renewal on the church function: 1.The disciples’ lives renewal (the personal part) and the functions of the church (the function of the worship, the function of the fellowship, the function of the education, the function of the church work, and the function of the propaganda and education) are positive and up to standard in statistics. 2.The influence of the churches on the society renewal (the organization part) and the function of the church are positive to the functions of the worship, the fellowship, the education, the church work, and the propaganda and education.(2)The influence of the church renewal on the church administration results: 1.It is positive to the church management results and up to standard in statistics. 2.It is positive to the church leaders’ work results and up to standard in statistics. 3.It is positive to the church attendance on Sunday and up to standard in statistics. 4.It is positive to the income of the church and up to standard in statistics.(3)This research about the church leaders personality traits shows: 1.88.6% church leaders are inner-dominated personality. 2.128 church leaders are low self-alerted, which are 99.22% of the total population. 3.In the part of Type-A and Type-B personality traits of church leaders, the number of Type-A personality traits church leaders are at most, and the number is 79, which is 60.8% of the total population; the number of Type-B personality traits church leaders is 51, which is 39.2% of the total
