    Abstract: 1,4-丁二醇(BDO)是一種重要的化工原料,可生產四氫?喃(THF)、γ-丁內酯(GBL)、聚對苯二甲酸二丁酯(PBT)等,廣泛用於溶劑、醫藥、化?品、增塑劑、固化劑、農藥、除?劑、人造皮革、纖維、工程塑膠等方面。本論文使用銅鉻觸媒催化琥珀酸二乙酯之氫化反應以生成BDO、GBL、THF與丁醇,改變反應條件以找出最佳的BDO生產條件,發現溫度與壓力的改變,是影響產物組成的主要原因,在過低的溫度與壓力條件下,反應物之轉化率不高。THF產率隨溫度增加而增加,丁醇之產率隨壓力增加而增加,在適當的溫度和壓力下,才有最好的BDO產率,BDO產率可達86.5%。本研究之銅鉻觸媒以場發式電子顯微鏡(FE-SEM)、X能量散譜儀(EDS)、表面積與孔洞分析儀、X射線粉末繞射儀(XRD)、熱重分析儀(TGA)、傅立葉轉換紅外線光譜儀(FTIR)等儀器進行分析,以探討銅鉻觸媒之特性。
    1,4-butanediol(BDO) is a valuable industrial chemical. It can be used to produce tetrahydrofuran(THF), γ-butyrolactone(GBL), polybutyl terephthalate(PBT). It is widely used is solvent,medicine,cosmetics, curing agents, herbicides, synthetic leather, fiber, pesticide and engineering plastics.This thesis uses a copper chromite catalyst for hydrogenation of diethyl succinate to BDO, GBL, THF and n-butanol. By changing reaction conditions, the optimum conditions for producing BDO was found. Temperature and pressure are the major variables affecting product distribution. At low temperature or pressure, conversion was not high. THF yield increased with increasing temperature, n-butanol yield increased with increasing pressure. 1,4-butanediol yield of 86.5% was obtained under suitable temperature and pressure.The copper chromite was characterized with FE-SEM, EDS, BET, XRD,TGA and FTIR.
