摘要本研究目的在了解是否以基督宗教的聖經故事的設計的良善課程是否能提昇國小高年級學生的良善。本論文的課程設計是以國小高年級學生為對象,參考文獻及書籍,綜合良善的資料,以基督教的聖經故事配合團體遊戲與討論,整理成為良善課程。在教學過程中改善所設計的版本,得到正式的教學課程。本研究使用前實驗研究法,透過量化統計,以瞭解良善教育對國小高年級學生良善的影響。本論文將以良善教育課程活動設計,加以說明本研究的設計與實施。本研究之受試對象為中部客家地區的公立國小,實施良善課程教學的二班學生,為實驗組(40人),未實施良善課程教學的二班(49人)學生為對照組,共89人,實驗組由研究者教授良善教育課程,研究者利用晨光時間,進行教學活動,經過八小時的教學活動,測量其良善之改變;對照組則照平日教學,不加予以良善教學實驗,在第五週後予以後測,所得資料以t檢定及共變數以及階層回歸分析進行統計分析作為評量良善課程對國小高年級學生之之影響。本研究之成果與結論如下:一、 設計出一套可行之國小高年級學生的問卷與課程設計。二、 本論文的實驗組及對照組學生背景相似,因此實驗前並未有顯著差異。三、 實驗組、對照組在後測之後的迴歸分析,依測驗結果可知實驗組學生在教育介入後良善的品格有提昇的情形,包括:關懷仇敵中願意幫助與自己不友善的同學,在良善助人中更願意隨時的幫助人。顯示良善課程的問卷測量結果幫助國小高年級學生在這些方面的成長。在關懷家人、對人謙卑、對人平等上則未達統計上的顯著水準。根據以上結論,本研究提出以下幾點建議:一、 對實施之課程與測量工具之修訂提出建言。二、 台灣的小學有必要推動宗教教育發展品格教育的課程。三、 期待教育單位以專案培育品格教育教師。關鍵字:生命教育、良善教育、品格教育 AbstractThis research aims to find out if Christian character-developing programs based on biblical stories can raise the level of kindness amongst the 5th grade students in elementary schools. The curriculum in this research project is designed for the 5th grade elementary school students. To compile the course program that best suit the needs of 5th grade students in elementary school, we have gathered information from documents & literatures on kindness, incorporated Christian Biblical stories, group activities & discussions into the course design. Further revisions on the curriculum are made during the course of teaching until the final & most appropriate edition is reached.Through the use of quantifying statistics & the employment of the above mentioned experimental study methods, our research seeks to understand the effect of kindness education on the 5th grade students of elementary schools. This paper will attempt to explain the design & implementation of the research based on the kindness education program activities. The targets of this research are students from two classes of a public school in the Hakka population of central Taiwan. The two classes are separately assigned as the experimental group (40 people) vs. the control group (49 people). The researchers incorporated kindness courses into the regular curriculum of the experimental group. After 8 hours of course activities, changes in kindness are measured & recorded. Whereas the control group received only the regular school curriculum, with measures taken in the 5th week. All data obtained are then taken into account in the statistical analysis on the effect of kindness education program in the 5th grade students in elementary schools. Conclusions of the research are as follows:1. Design programs & questionnaire targeting the 5th grade elementary school students.2. Both the experimental & control groups of this research had similar backgrounds, therefore, there were no measurable differences between the two groups before the experiment.3. After the research was conducted & data gathered for regression analysis, one can see that after the kindness courses were incorporated into the curriculum, the virtue of kindness has noticeably improved. Students from the experimental group are more willing to help those that are hostile to them & have also become more willing to give help anytime. This indicates that the kindness curriculum has helped the 5th grade elementary school students to grow in the area of kindness. The chart of kindness & helpfulness shows that there is great improvement in the level of kindness. In view of the conclusions reached, we propose the following suggestions:1. There is a need for Elementary schools in Taiwan to push for the development of religion-based character-education programs.2. The education organizations should begin special programs to train character-education teachers.Keywords: life education, kindness education, character education
