台灣近廿年來，社會變遷多元且劇，人們的價值觀改變，婚姻及家庭文化也隨之改變，導致婚姻關係漸不穩定。「離婚」已是現代人極為熟悉的「現在進行式」。教會中的單親媽媽，面臨婚姻關係中失範現象的發生如何自處及信仰與教會活動對其生活有何影響？是本研究的目的。本研究採質性研究，以半結構深度訪談進行蒐集資料，並藉由敘事研究方法來還原經驗本質及分析生活經驗的深層意義。探討主體為基督教會中「單親媽媽」生活經驗相關議題，研究對象為台中地區，在教會中生活經歷現況的三位「單親媽媽」，就其個人的原生家庭、成長背景，在教會中服事現況與信仰景況，及離婚後的生活經驗現況等加以研究。主要研究結論如下：（一）「離婚」的印記，讓單親媽媽自覺在社群中無法抬頭。（二）抉擇離婚是為了解決「婚姻生活中」無法忍受的「痛」。（三）離婚後都面臨「生活困頓」、「經濟壓力」等現實因素。（四）離婚後兒女的「教」、「養」及「親子問題」都面臨考驗。（五）離婚後的單親媽媽必須學習「自我成長」的艱辛歷程。（六）參與教會活動，藉由「基督信仰」勇敢自信的面對未來。（七）鼓勵兒女接受基督信仰，參與教會活動。（八）未來若有能力，將自許投入公益活動，以幫助同樣際遇的朋友。 （九）教會對人的幫助遠大於對人的傷害。 In the latest twenty years, Taiwan society has a dramatic and diversified change. People’s value has changed, and so does marriage and culture in family. And the result is that the marital relationship has getting more unstable. “Divorce”has been a familiar ongoing situation in modern people. The purpose of this research is to find out how the single mothers in church manage their life when facing the loss in their marital relation, and how the religion and church activities influence their life.This research is employed with qualitative research method, the research data is gathered by semi-structured deep interview. The narrative study method is used to see through the essence of the experiences and deep meaning of life experiences. The research is to study the personal original family 、background、service in the church 、situation of belief and life experiences after divorced--the related issues of life experiences of three single mothers in church in Taichung area. The conclusions are:1. The impress of “divorced” make the singles mothers low self-esteem in the society.2. The single mothers’s choice for getting divorced were to resolve the unbearable pain in the marital life.3. The single mothers all face the realistic issues such as troubles in life and economic pressure.4. They all have to face the teaching and raising problems and parenting problems. 5. After divorced, these single mothers have to learn through the tough process of “self growth”.6. When they participate in the activities in church, they have the faith from Jesus to face their future bravely.7. They encourage their children to accept the belief of Christ and to take part in the activities in church,8. When they have ability in the future, they will participate in the non-profit activities to help those who have the similar encounters.9. The church has greater help to people than its damage to people.
