The purpose of this research is to discuss the development of “V+(一)個XP” structure from the diachronic point of view. From the Tang Dynasty, VP entered this format, which has got the characteristic of the nominalization as “(yi) ge”((一)個)in front of it. About Song and Yuan Dynasty, the grammatical constituents of complements began to join the format and obtained several illustrations, such as “xia ge pan si(嚇個半死)” and “ku ge puting(哭個不停)”…etc. Finally, “(yi) ge”((一)個)could be pre-positive in mass “V+ XP” before XP. We think this is an effect of analogy and should consider “V+個+XP” as verb-object construction.
