    Abstract: A homospin ladder-like chain, [Co(Hdhq)(OAc)] n (1; H 2dhq = 2,3-dihydroxyquinoxaline), shows a single-chain-magnet-like (SCM-like) behavior with the characteristics of frequency dependence of the out-of-phase component in alternating current (ac) magnetic susceptibilities and hysteresis loops. ? 2011 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
