It is far more difficult to handle security related to communications within a group than security of end-to end transmission. When handling communications among group members, besides meeting various safety protocols, the internal algorithm and the external state of the system too must be addressed. Also, the method used by a group to distribute its group key to each member is extremely important since group members communicate using a shared group key. Conventional management methods can be classified into two categories: centralized management and decentralized management. This paper proposes a mixed-key management method centered on the construction of a secure and practical group secret key distribution system. The method provides multi-point group broadcast, dynamic reciprocation of group fault tolerance, and services of high extensibility and stability.
