    Abstract: This study addresses the specifiable verifier characteristics of the group-oriented threshold signature in a group-oriented cryptosystem. Based on these characteristics, the group of signers has a limited authority to specify the group of verifiers. Furthermore, the elliptic curve cryptosystem is integrated into the proposed scheme to increase the efficiency above that of other algorithms. ? 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
