| Abstract: | 這是一個小小的設計，卻是一個充滿無限可能的空間想像；這是一個簡單的設計，卻是一個具創造力與顛副性的思惟。我想的很小，做的很簡單，是以膠帶「貼」的方式來完成設計。人的生活空間可以是用砌的、搭的、接的，為什麼不能用貼的？我試圖運用一種材質：膠帶，貼出結構、貼出空間、貼出建築、貼出生活與記憶。我將討論膠帶的物質性、構築性與時間性：1、以交錯多層的貼+折：使軟性的膠帶賦予結構強度。2、尺度操作：膠帶的尺度、容納生活物件的尺度、住人的尺度、空間衍生的尺度。3、衍生：每個 Packaging-Tape House 空間結構支撐皆落於角邊，因此面可以開口與其他 Packaging-Tape House 有衍生的可能。4、Packaging-Tape House 有許多的可能性：空間方案的可能（譬如菱形）、衍生的可能（譬如菱形+長方形）、幾種旅程的可能（譬如無家可歸的遊民）。我以都市中常見的旅人：遊民，作為討論 Packaging-Tape House 的延伸對象，並以 Skid Row，LA 為示範基地，其關鍵為下列三要素：1、高密度遊民社群（具明確範圍：面積= 0.965k㎡；遊民數：11 萬）。2、遊民獲得 9 p.m.-6 a.m. 人行道居住權。3、洛市政府預計花十年一億美金解決 Skid Row，LA 的遊民問題。
AbstractThis is a small design but full of infinite spatial imaginations; this is a simple design but imbued with creative and subversive thinking. It is small and can be easily made. This design is completed by “taping” with adhesive tapes. The human living space can be bricked, constructed, and bonded. Why can it not be taped? In this research, I attempt to utilize an easily accessible material—adhesive tape—to create the structure, space, building, life and memory by taping. The physical nature, tectonic, and property of time of adhesive tape are discussed:1、Interwoven and multi-layered tapes and folds: increase the structural strength of adhesive tapes. 2、Operations of dimensions: dimensions of adhesive tapes, dimensions of a space that can accommodate living objects, dimensions of a living space, and dimensions derived from the space. 3、Derivation: The structural support of each Packaging-Tape House is located at the corners, so an opening can be made on the sides, making it possible to derive one Packaging-Tape House from another. 4、Packaging-Tape House has numerous possibilities: possibilities of spatial forms (such as rhombus), possibilities of derivation (rhombus + rectangle), and possibilities of travelers (such as homeless people). Homeless people, the commonly seen travelers in urban areas are used as the subjects in the study of Packaging-Tape House, and Skid Row in LA is employed as an example for its three main reasons: 1、A high-density community of homeless people (110 million people living in an area of 0.965k㎡). 2、The homeless people are granted the right to live on sidewalks during 9pm~6am. 3、The LA government plans to solve the homeless problem of Skid Row within 10 years using US$100 million. |
