    摘要: The mechanism of particle attrition in a fluidized bed is examined. Abrasion is obviously the dominant mechanism. The fines generated usually have a certain size distribution which is a characteristic of the bed material. The material with this characteristic is referred to as having 'natural grain size'. A systematic method to quantitatively characterize the attrition property is presented. A generalized relationship between the initial and steady-state attrition rates is established as one of the material characteristics.
