    Abstract: 在無線感測網路中,封包的傳送需透過節點間相互合作,然而,經由無線電波傳送的封包,將暴露於攻擊者的威脅之下,當攻擊發生時,路由協定必須提供有效的安全措施來防禦,用以確保封包傳送過程的安全性。本計畫第一年研究重點在於探討無線感測網路的各種傳輸協定、拓撲結構、封包重傳和拓撲重建等問題。藉由分析現有協定的各項缺失,提出具有資料備援的路由協定,進一步透過電力消耗的分析,設計出低耗電且具有備援機制的路由協定,用來解決無線環境中封包傳送的安全問題。由於無線感測網路的應用層面相當廣泛,它的安全性更是一個不可忽視的議題。現實環境中存在許多不同類型的安全威脅,當攻擊發生時,將嚴重影響感測網路的運作,因而導致資料傳送的效能降低且造成機密資料外洩等問題。因此第二年的研究將著重於探討各種可能的攻擊行為,進而提出有效的防禦策略。透過整合現有的安全技術,設計出具有節點認證及封包完整性驗證的無線通訊協定,用來提高無線感測網路的安全性。除了以上各項研究,本計畫擬針對現有無線感測網路存在的各種缺點,提出有效且完整的資通安全解決方案。所以,第三年的研究重點將針對前兩年的研究成果,進行系統的模擬與建置。實作將採用開放原始碼的方式,配合相關的硬體元件,建構出低成本且高安全的無線測網路系統。
    On the wireless sensor networks, packets are transmitted via cooperation among nodes; however, since packets are transmitted by radio waves, they are exposed to threats of attackers. When attacks occur, routing protocols have to provide effective security measures to ensure the security of packets in transmission. First year of this project will focus on problems of a variety of routing protocols for wireless sensor networks, topology structures, packet retransmission, and topology reconstruction. From analyzing shortcomings of existing protocols, we shall propose a routing protocol with data backup mechanism; and, from analysis of power consumption, we design a routing protocol with features of low-power consumption and backup mechanisms and then to solve security issues for packet transmission in the wireless environment. Because the wireless sensor network has a wide range of applications, its security issues cannot be ignored. In the real world, numerous types of security threats exist; when any attack occurs, it will seriously affect the operation of the sensor networks, resulting in downgrading of data transfer efficiency, and leaking of confidential data and so on. The second year of our project will focus on exploring probabilities of potential attack behaviors, and in turn to come up with effective defense strategy. Through the integration of existing security technologies, we will design a wireless transmission protocol with features of node authentication and packet integrity authentication to improve the security of wireless sensor networks. Our research is intended to come up with effective and complete data transfer security solutions for flaws of existing wireless sensor networks, and so the third year of it will focus on system simulations and implementation according to research results of the previous two years. For implementation, we will adopt open source codes, together with related hardware components to construct a low-cost, high security wireless sensor network system.
