    Title: 家扶受扶少年復原力環境保護因子、社會排除與希望感之相關性研究

    Abstract: 貧窮會影響少年身心健康及成就,因著貧窮產生的社會排除,更限制其未來發展。在高社會排除的環境中,希望是核心且優先的復原力因子。復原力環境保護因子可以提升少年的復原力,以對抗逆境。貧窮少年接受家扶基金會經濟扶助及多元服務方案後,其復原力環境保護因子、社會排除及希望感是否會有不同?本研究旨在探討家扶受扶少年復原力環境保護因子、社會排除與希望感之相關性。本研究以台灣家扶暨兒童基金會「貧窮兒少資料庫」12-18歲就學中的少年,共1,259名進行分析,(男性=582名;女性=677名);此樣本調查為2011年7月1日至2011年10月31日,在各縣市採取等距隨機抽樣調查。研究結果與發現如下:一、背景資料方面,家扶受扶少年在性別上男女比例均等,年齡以14至18歲為主,就讀現況以國中居多,比例約佔五成,就讀高中和高職者亦近五成,家中排行以第二及第一為主,身體質量指數以正常體位為主。家庭背景方面,多數仍接受扶助中,為政府列冊低收入戶為主,占五成以上,家庭經濟每人每月平均收入為3562.67。二、家扶受扶少年的復原力環境保護因子普遍良好,社會排除感為中上,整體希望感良好。三、不同性別、就讀現況、手足排行會影響少年的復原力環境保護因子、社會排除與希望感四、家扶受扶少年復原力環境保護因子愈佳,其社會排除感受愈少,希望感也愈好,反之社會排除感受愈高,希望感愈低五、家扶受扶少年個人背景、復原力環境保護因子、社會排除能有效預測希望感。根據研究發現,提出以下建議一、於家庭方面,強化家人間依附關係、重視營養均衡,滿足少年成長需要、注重家庭清潔,建立家庭規章。二、於學校方面,加強國中少年生涯探索,增加社區參與機會;與社區合作,提供創意發想及職場見習機會;重視少年多元能力開發,增加少年學校活動參與及競爭力;協助少年生涯選擇,落實教育機會平等。三、於社福單位方面,增加親子共同活動經驗機會,創造共同休閒經驗;推動家庭教育學習,以正向言語,作為親子溝通橋樑。
    Poverty affects the physical and mental health and the success of youngsters. A society generated from poverty will not only be exluded, but will be limited in its development. In an environment of upper class exclusion, hope is the core and foremost resilience factor. Protective factors in a resilience environment can elevate a youngster’s resilience against adversity. Poverty-stricken youngsters receive economical support from the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families. After receiving support, is there any difference with social exclusion and the sense of hope? This study investigates the resilience environment protective factor of family support on youngsters and its association with social exclusion and sense of hope.This study uses the Taiwanese Family Support for Children database, ”Taiwan Database of Children and Youth in Poverty”, and obtained data on youngsters who is in studying between the age 12-18. A total of 1259 youngsters were analyzed (males = 582; females =677). The sample was surveyed randomly between 1 July 2011 to 31 October 2011 at various counties and cities. The results of the study are as below:1. On background information: Youngsters receiving family support have similar gender ratios. Most of the mare between ages 14 and 18 and are mostly in junior high with a ratio of approximately 50%. Those in high school and vocational school take up another 50%. Within the family, most of the children are first or secondborns. Most of them also have a normal body mass index. With regards to family background, most of them are accepting help and are listed as low income household in the government’s books. This stands for over 50%. The average income per person per month is 3563.2. Youngsters accepting family support as protective factor in resilience environment is generally good. Sense of social exclusion above average, but the overall sense of hope is good.3. The different genders, current studying situation, sibling rank will affect a youngster’s resilience environment protection factor, social exclusion and sense of hope.4. The better the resilience environment factor of family support, the less the feeling of social exclusion and the better the sense of hope. In contract, the higher the feeling of social exclusion, the lower the sense of hope.5. Family support of youngsters as a protective factor in resilience environment and the social exclusion thereafter is an effective predictor of sense of hope.Based on the results the following are recommended:1. With regards to family, one should strengthen the attachment amongst family members, place importance on a balanced diet, satisfy a youngster’s needs during development, pay attention to cleanliness at home and establish family regulations.2. With regards to school, on eshould strengthen career exploration for junior high students, increase opportunities for community involvement by collaborating with the community, provide creative ideas and opportunities for work training, place importance in the multidirectional development capacity of youngsters by increasing activities and competitiveness in schools, assist youngsters in career choice and implement equal opportunities for education.4. Regards to social welfare, on eshould increase the opportunity for parent-child interaction, create leisure experiences for the whole family, promote the study on family education by using positive words as a bridge for communication with children.
