現今在雲端運算(Cloud Computing)的盛行之下,許多企業都紛紛投入該產業,增加該企業的價值。因應雲端運算產業及週邊設備的日漸普及之下,企業對於工作效率是越來越重視,希望能整合週邊設備以達成可以不限時間跟地點查詢客戶的報價單、訂單、銷售單、生產狀況、應收帳款或檢視企業庫存現況…等,目的就是希望能給予客戶最即時的資料及回覆,增加企業的競爭力。本文的實驗上是使用VMWare vSphere 當做IaaS 平台,在該平台上安裝OpenERP系統。研究著重在OpenERP 軟體壓測其效能且觀查變化,使用者人數在以百為基準之下,測試從1000 人到10000 人同時間大量使用者上線建立詢價單之後需要花費多少時間,壓測完後確認OpenERP 是可以支援同時間大量使用者上線建立單據,但機器硬體等級上也是要能夠滿足於人數上資源的限制,不然會讓使用者建立單據的時候因為等待時間過久,而無法即時做好份內的工作。 Cloud computing has become one of emerging technologies in the past five yearsas many organizations have been investing on the technology because it can bringbusiness value. From business perspective, it can increase business process efficiencyas it provides an integrated system platform in order to meet customer’srequirements. From customer perspective, the solution is able to offer real timeaccess for customers such as queries, quotations, sales orders, production status,accounts receivable, and business inventory tracking. It gives customers real-timedata access and response without time and location limitation. Therefore, it notonly increases customer satisfactions but also enhances competitiveness of enterprisesas business goals.The paper is to investigate cloud computing platform performance and effectiveness.OpenERP, which is one of the most popular open source cloud computingsoftware, has been selected and it will be installed on VMWare vSphere via anIaaS platform. The measurement of performance and effectiveness of OpenERPis to examine what the maximum users creating documents online at the sametime with stability. The number of users accessing the platform at the same timerange from 1,000 to 10,000 will be examined while the unit is increasing per hundredeach time. After examination, it ensures that OpenERP is able to support alarge number of users creating documents online at the same time. Furthermore,high end computer hardware will be provided for performing the ability of fastdata processing to avoid long waiting time while users are accessing or creatingdocuments.
