Writing this thesis is an exploring process of retreating myself, and also a record of living condition about her -- the person who lives nearest to me, about peeping deep in her eyes and soul, about the warmth felt on the nerve endings, and about the desire honest to body. “The Skin She Live In” is the discussing topic of this creation. Through the relatively comprehensive analysis on my works during this period of time -- no matter in history, daily life or life experience -- after careful selection, I have to attempt to put myself on a more meaningful position to pursuit more artistic inspiration. This work selects female body, hands, hair and skin as the primary axis of creation, intending to utilize limb to express human image of the watch for desire, the temperature of body, the lines of motion, the traction of expression and the flow of thoughts and so on, all of which, to be honest, endure forever just like the desire itself. No matter what gender is, it must express feelings and emotions through body language -- a glance, a gesture, even lip lick and frown can be direct exposure of inner thoughts. In addition, the expressing objects also include others and oneself. The murmur expresses not only the literal meanings but also the temperature of emotion between their getting along with others and being alone. Chapter one first introduces individual creation motive and presentation; chapter two starts from individual inner perspective, and tries to link with life experience that relevant to creation; chapter three considers and stretches from individual creative gist, and attempts to dig the common ideas between social phenomenon or historical events and self-creation; chapter four is an analysis of personal creation; chapter five is a summary of this thesis. For the author’s creation, this is a new stage. Since the collision of ideas in first two years of graduate till now, the author has wished that through continuous trials, a more comprehensive direction can be acquired to offer more motivation and mature growth both in writer’s creation and life, and to explore more intensive and powerful warmth of life and soul.
