本研究試圖從結構影響行為者的觀點出發,欲探究東南亞區域政治的發展。冷戰結束後,東協積極發展整合,並成為東南亞地區發展的主要方向,但過程中卻也同時面對中國的崛起以及美國勢力的影響,使得整體東南亞區域政治結構呈現動態發展,且東協、中國及美國成為決定東南亞政治結構的關鍵因素。以此為基礎,本研究將美國視為結構中的既有強權、中國為新興強權,並透過文獻整理出彼此意圖的選項,再透過事實的整理,歸納出東南亞區域政治正從中國願意調適美國為主的政治結構,逐漸出現修正態度的結論,並導致東南亞各國在經濟與安全議題上分別選擇仰賴中國與美國的情形。 This study attempts to analyze political development in Southeast Asia region through viewpoints of how structure influences actors. After the cold war, ASEAN actively pursues integration and has become its main developing direction. However, ASEAN faces impacts of China’s emergence and US power during the process which further creates a dynamic development of ASEAN political structure and ASEAN, China and US are the determining factors. Based on this background, this study views US as the existing superpower in the structure, China as the emerging superpower and intentions of each other were accounted through literature review. Finally, induction about ASEAN’s politics were made. ASEAN is adjusting its attitude according to China’s willingness to adapt to US’s leading role in the political structure, which further leads to South East Asian countries’ reliance of China and US separately on economic and security issues.
