In recent year, because of the food security issue, Tunghai University start the “Cross-Domain GREEN PO-YA Farm” and began the planning of the ecological farm. Although the planning is start, it didn’t put the environment and the management as a whole. The design through the relevant theory of urban agriculture, edible landscape and campus farms to know the position of this farm, and through the development of low-impact approach to create the overall space in order to reduce the impact on the environment and reduce the loss of future disasters, and through After the case study, will be further use of low-impact development and environmental education have a link, so that the future of Tunghai University ecological farms can become environmental education field.
This project had many times meeting with the staff of the school, and integrated the school's space requirements, and combined with relevant theory and case analysis of the proposed design, and the future of the farm sustainable management plan to make recommendations. In addition to staff participation, the future farm in the production of income, environmental education income for the sustainable development of the farm an important factor, but also makes the overall farm environment is more important. As the important infrastructure for the development of sustainable campus, the school need to pay more attention in the future.
