In the novel of Xiang-Yin Lai, there will always be a virtual communication object. The narrators will doubt about their own situations and ask themselves ceaselessly. These will demonstrate a non-stop re-defined tendency of the subjectivity, and it will think about the clear appearance of the era during the process of definition. When Xiang-Yin Lai faced the death of her friends and family, this phenomenon performed clearly and deeply in the long novel, And then, which was written after she was at her low ebb for many years. Death was an unexplainable specific fact that impact Xiang-Yin Lai, and it was closer to herself than realizing the bloody history that happened in this island while she entered the university. So the desire for the need of realizing objectively was much stronger and more difficult. The writing topics of Xiang-Yin Lai have a consistency, so I try to use her novel, And then, as the main analyzing object, which is relatively closer to her personal experience. And I discuss the phenomenon that invaded by the departed, which will be constructed by a form of space. I consider that there will be an evolution from small-return, large-return to ultra-return. In this article, I will thoroughly analyze this evolution of space construction from the small-return formed by the irrecoverable memory of the first encounter to the large death shadow that formed after the event happens, which results in the need for a virtual closed space of the survivors. While constructing the space, there will form a larger twin-return, which is influenced by the ceremonialization of the departed and the stagnant condition of the survivors. In the examples of this article, relieving the myth and stagnant space of this departed is the death of another myth. The broken of the myth for someone who occupy the survivor’s life a lot will cause the ultra-return, which will return the survivors back to the reality, make the imagination return to the pure memory, and retrieve their physical consciousness. So that the survivors will not take along the departed in the alive human field.
