| Abstract: | 《我們之間隔了一扇窗》是我的創作論述的主題。「我們」到底是指誰呢？第一層的解釋中，「我」指我自己，而「另一個人」則可指「我」以外的「他者」，當中包括與我有關係者，如親人、朋友、戀人等，亦可指其所身處的社會、文化環境等，「我們」在這裡的含意為我與身處的外在世界；第二層解釋中的「我們」則是我與自身，包括情緒、心理及精神狀態，為我與我的內在世界。《我們之間隔了一扇窗》敍述我與內、外世界的關係，夾帶著一份既盼望又膽怯的複雜情緒。 而那「一扇窗」不僅代表我與內在世界或外在世界的隔離，同時也象徵著兩者之間的「通道」與「出入口」。那扇窗或敞開或緊閉，被打開或被鎖上，完好無缺或已受破損，均顯視出「我們」之間所處的關係。我試圖利用此系列作品，對內在的情感思緒作出直觀的探索，並對外部的刺激作出觀察、描述及回應。「我們」之間看似分隔，實為相牽，當中千頭萬緒，卻無法言喻。 第一章為「緒論」，記敍我的創作與研究的源起、透過此研究所想要達到的目的及當中所使用的方法等；第二章為「這種距離」，以「無人之景」、「五百英里」及「那一扇窗」為題，述說作品的主要內容；第三章為「指尖的觸摸」，探討創作中所使用的媒材、物料與方法，就構圖、顏色等作出分析；第四章為「個人創作解析」，逐一審視此段時期的作品，紀錄與整理自己的狀態及想法。
The topic of my thesis is ‘Window between Us’. Who are ‘us’ in this topic? In the firstmeaning, ‘us’ refers to ‘me’ and ‘the others’, including my family, friends, lover and etc.‘The other’ also represents the society around me, the cultural atmosphere surrounding meand generally points to the outer world that I am living in. In the second meaning, ‘us’refers to ‘me’ and ‘the inner’, including my emotions, feelings and mental states. It pointsto the inner world inside me. ‘Window between Us’ discusses the distance between theouter world and me, and between the inner world and me. The ‘window’ not only represents the alienation of me with the outer and inner world,it actually symbolizes the way going though them. The window could be closed, slightlyopened, broken, locked or whatever. It visualizes the states between ‘us’. I try to observethe changes in the inner simulated by the outer world and how the inner world affects thereaction towards the outer. In chapter 1, I try to state the motivations and aims of this thesis, including whatmethod I plan to use. In chapter 2, I write about the three main themes in my artworks.They are ‘there is no human’, ‘500 hundred miles’ and ‘the window’. In chapter 3, Idiscuss the methods and materials that I use to create my works. I analyze the elementsappeared on the pictures, including combination, colours, shapes and etc. In chapter 4, Iexplain what I actually think inside myself and my artworks. |
