    Abstract: 本研究將外包策略與研發視為降低成本策略,並假設研發存在報酬遞減。本研究延用Shy and Stenbacka (2005)的架構,以雙佔市場的Cournot競爭模型來探討廠商如何進行外包和研發策略。探討在雙佔市場下,研發策略會如何影響廠商的外包數量與利潤。研究結果發現,研發報酬遞減乘數愈大,廠商外包數量會愈多。 當其中一家廠商採用研發策略後,無論採用研發策略廠商的外包數量是增加或減少,沒有採用研發策略廠商之外包數量一定會減少。當只有一家廠商採用研發策略時,採用研發策略的廠商之利潤會增加,而沒有採用研發策略的廠商之利潤會減少。
    This research focuses on taking outsourcing and R&D as cost-reducing strategy and the R&D investments are subject to diminishing returns. This research extends the model of Shy and Stenbacka (2005).We set up the duopoly competition with R&D strategy .We investigated how R&D strategy affects the number of outsourced inputs and profit in a Cournot duopoly. We find that the number of outsourced inputs increase as the degree of R&D diminishing return increases. Non-R&D firm reduces the amount of outsourcing whenever the rival R&D firm increases or decreases its degree of outsourcing.The profit of R&D firm will increase; the profit of non-R&D firm will decrease.
