現代化的發展趨勢下，普遍大眾接受時代背景所產生的產物，人們的居住型態逐漸一致化，同樣類型的空間模矩遍及各處。然而，在不同的地方，人們因著在地的條件資源、文化背景，建立著具差異性的生活情狀，它結合了身體、物體和流動，聚集了事物、思想及記憶，它仍然依著時間而變動並非永恆，但依循的是在地人們的生活習慣。矛盾的現象，是變化的力量，並非所有的傳統都適用於現代的時空背景，當然，也不是全然的汰舊換新，在檢視現況活動與延續地域文化之間，重組靜浦聚落的居住單元，並重新定義此地區的公共與私密層級，思考在地文化與現代化之間的再磨合，藉由觀察找尋之間的平衡點，並以其作為新的起始，組構出更貼近此地的生活情狀，山到海的路徑作為示範，描繪出山海間的生活地景，建立下一個變化的想像。 Nowadays along with the development of modernization, the public is used to accept creatures of the age more easily. Because of that reason, the general residential types become analogous, and the same kinds of modular plan spread all around the world. Therefore, there should be different kinds of local resources, cultural backgrounds and living styles in diverse area. Such situations involve unique thought and memory, and changing over time through the regional subsistence.Strategy is the stress for the modifications. It is not necessary to cut out whole traditional customs to fit into the modern society, and vice versa. Thus, under the presupposition that finding the balance between present activities and regional cultures, reconstructing the residential unit of Cawi village, redefining the definition of public and private level and rethinking the run-in situation between the tradition and modern. I design a living path connecting the ocean and the mountain to create the imagination of the next changing in this village.
