本論文所討論之主題是大學校園與城市環境間界面空間之構成。 在論文中，認為校園與城市間之界面，不僅是一道界定校園之邊緣或內外之分界線，且是反映校園、城市間消長與交互作用之媒介空間；因此校園與城市之作用方式、溝通模式，會透過實質空間形態而形成不同之界面形式；此不同之界面形式，呈現校園與城市間不同之對話關係。 隨著城市環境不斷變動，及大學校園本身的變化，二者間界面在各時期、不同作用下，扮演不同的對內對外角色。本論文之討論是以校園／城市環境間之界面空間為核心，從校園之涵構、空間組構，與都市環境之涵構上，探討二者在界面空間上呈現之對話關係，以及在變動過程中衍生之界面空間應對方式。並綜合論文中的討論分析，由國內大學院校中選取案例，藉由實例研究之方式，歸納出不同主導作用建構之界面空間類型：自足性、隱藏性及都市化之校園界面。最後試以假想之設計案例，對論文之討論做─詮釋，在環境變化、校園發展等不同作用影響下，校園界面空間形態之變化、重組，並嘗試藉此呈現校園與外在環境二者之對話關係。 The thesis design is primarily concerned with the space construction of interface between the urban enevironment and campus. It can be inferred that the interface is, in the discourse, not only a barrier to define the verge of a college, but a "mediate space" reflecting the miscellaneous interaction and dialogue relationship which are comprised of diverse form distracted from the genuine space. Owing to the incessant change of city boundary and school itself, the interface between them will play a dynamic, a time dependent, role under the different period and interaction. The papers refers the "interface space" as a kemel to discuss their conversation and communication method, followed by the continuous variety on the interface, from the substance of campus, the structure of space, and system of urban environment. By way of exemplifying some institutes in Taiwan, the study concludes three interface space types of structure: self-satisfied, district, and urbanized. Eventually, it also tries to give an interpretation for the resulf of the analysis from a design case and show the dialogue relationship in the campus/city environmenl under the development, rearrange of the interface space.
