Abstract:	本論文設計以構造中接合方式之一種，榫卯接合，作為出發點。整理其形式上的處理手法，重新分類，並發展其概念及隱喻上的含意，使其與建築設計的整體相對應，作為一種做設計時的權衡與考慮。　　同時，在確立看待榫卯的角度時，引進音樂對位法中的作曲法，運用兩者交集的部份，使建築榫卯扣合緊密。建築設計，由於基地涵構對應及空間序列處理的需要，必然將純粹只考量內部機能使用時，所構成的榫卯關係解構，重組，而產生內部空間移位。此時便可運用對位中的手法，將其轉換至建築的操作上，加以系統地整理。　　機能與基地的擇定因上述兩個概念而來，使論點可以做一實際的演練。機能為一打擊樂中心，以朱宗慶打擊樂團及其基金會相關組織作為監本，並適當擴充之，使其成為具多種空間性質的集合體，進而找出扣合整體的每個環節。基地位於台北市士林，中山北路五段與文林路、小北街的交會處，貼近北淡線捷運高架，為一狹長三角形。其兩個面相的二元性與雙正面性，及不同層次的速度感，在設計上對應的想法，是著力的重點。　　最後並就此設計案所碰觸到的建築問題，做一簡單的討論。　　This thesis design is based on the concepts of tenon and mortise, a kjnd of joint traditionally used in the wooden construction of architecture. The study is intended to reorganize and reclassify the joint forms of tenon and mortise. Moreover, metaphors of tenon and mortise are also taken into consideration in the entire process of architecture design.　　Counterpoint, a common technique in music composition, is also applied in the current design. In architecture design, once concider the context of site and arrangement of space sequence, the origional construction of tenon and mortise-in which the functions of space is the primary concern-will be deconstructed and reconstructed. The orders of inside-spaces will therefore be relatively modified. By applying the concept of counterpoint to the operation of design, the whole architecture construction may obtain a systematic organization, and become an interlocking whole.　　In order to practice the above concepts, specific function and site are chosen for the design. The function is based on the Jui Tzong-ching percussion orchestra, whose music center is modified and extended to a multi-space aggregation. The site is a flat-triangle area, located in the intersection of Joig-shan north road, fifth section, Win-lin road,and Hsian-pei street, near Dann-shoei MAR system, in the area of Shynlin, Taipei. The design emphasis is placed upon the dualism of two sides and two obscure facades, as well as the impacts to human feelings dut to the differant aspects of speed.　　A concise discussion of the problems encountered in the thesis design is provided at the end.
