    Abstract: 在新的時代裡,任何企業都須以知識為基礎來運作,並將其轉化為產品與服務,以維持組織的生存與發展。組織體質也必須完全改變,成為具有知識的有機體。因此,如何把知識與學習具體紮根已成為組織策略的重心所在。 先進的資訊科技在知識管理之中所扮演的角色,是使知識管理的過程更為便利與效益,但如何營造出知識分享的組織文化與建立合宜的激勵制度,使成員樂於創造知識以及貢獻知識等組織機制上的議題,是使知識管理能夠運作的核心關鍵所在。因此,本研究從「組織取向」和「資訊科技運用」兩構面來建構知識管理理論模式,其著眼點於此兩構面對知識管理過程中知識的創造、積蓄與擴散等步驟的影響。基於此,本研究首先藉由文獻探討,從組織取向及資訊科技運用的觀點,建構適合的知識管理模式。首先,以歸納法針對國內外具代表性的文獻加以整理與分析。其次,採取個案研究的方式,針對近年來施行知識管理具代表性之案例,進行實證研究,以驗證和補充理論不足之處。 本研究證實,四種知識管理類型並不是何者為佳的問題,而是各有其適用環境與基礎條件。此外,相關發現亦顯示台灣企業在知識管理過程中,所呈現的部分特質。因此,本研究所釐清之事實,不僅具有學術意義,對於欲強化知識管理的企業,亦有參考的價值。
    To survive and prosper in this age of competition, knowledge intensive industries must build up a "knowledge-based" infrastructure. At the same time, industry organizations must reach a more dynamic and organic state. As a result, the ability to organize knowledge and to learn will be key strategic issues. Advanced information technology plays a key roll in the management of knowledge, especially in improving managerial efficiency and information accessibility. However, instituting an effective organizational strategy to form a sharing and cooperative organizational culture and to support and encourage members to create as well as to motivate them to share knowledge with others — this is the real key to any knowledge management operation. In this study, we construct the theory of knowledge management according to two dimensions- "organization orientation" and "information technology applications". Our focus is on how these dimensions affect the efficiency of knowledge creation, accumulation and distribution. Based on this theoretical framework, we review the literature on organizational structure and information technology concerned with knowledge management, in order to construct a suitable knowledge management model for the reinforcement of core competences. First, on the basis of our review of relevant research, we use induction to develop a series of hypotheses. Afterwards, we use case studies to illustrate ways in which knowledge management may be introduced into industry, in order to verify and augment previous theory. This study proved that there are individual basic conditions and applicable environments for each type of models of knowledge management. According to some related discoveries involve in case study of taiwaness compaines, we could find certain characteristics of knowledge management. Therefore, this research should not only have meaning for academics, but also be a valuable reference for industry participants interested in improving their knowledge management practices.
