Nowadays in the stringent competition environment, during the business transactions and negotiation process of a competitive and cooperative integrated supply chain, how to resolve the conflicts between the enterprises becomes an important issue. Because the leading roles in supply chain and self-interest based model, the results of production assignment and planning only reach at one-side optimization, and the total performance would be inferior. Therefore, for manufacturers how to effectively integrate the resources and build the best competitive and cooperative model for a multi-level supply chain can hold competitive advantages. In this research, for multi-echelon production planning and assignment problems, firms with different roles at different levels are modeled as multi-agents. Including order bidding and negotiation mechanism, system evaluation, and information feedback mechanism are proposed and developed as to constructing a part/subassembly suppliers assignment and production planning system. In the entire mechanism, including part/subassembly order bidding (or competition) power, cooperation strategy, and potential order transfer are modeled to develop an optimized resource allocation for supply chain members. Fuzzy multi-objective evaluation is used and developed to accomplish the tasks, production assignment and planning decision support, resulting in a multi-echelon competitively cooperative assignment and planning system.
