    Abstract: 昆蟲,一種與我們差異甚大的生物,不管在體積的大小、身體的結構及生長方式等,皆顯示著不同演化的方向,為何以這看似微不足道的生物作為創作的主題,或許與我的成長經驗有關,將我或人類視為主體,昆蟲為客體,當主體在觀看客體時,差異引發出的想像或自我影射、解讀等,會包裹著客體,透過創作來具體化這層被包裹中的感受與對應自我的存在。創作的過程由一開始對於昆蟲的構造進行精細的描寫,探討同處一個空間的我們,昆蟲如何用不同於人類的身體結構去對抗地心引力。再來是以蟑螂為主角,這個以強壯而順應自然的演化能力,悠遊我們所為自己建構的世界中,藉由牠們使我們產生不舒服或心裡的騷動,來對應出我們的狀態。發展到近期人擬昆蟲之態,在虛擬狀態中物件的平行與拼貼,消弭了對立的關係。本文進行以第一章的創作動機說明,第二章探討生長於台灣的我,文化如何影響我的思考及創作方式。第三章是從他人的理論和說法來回頭看自身的創作,分別以《山海經》看待自然和人的關係的角度,與布西亞對現代社會的看法來切入,並引用伊藤若沖的作品來對照說明,反觀自身。第四章回到自我的經驗和角度,以擬態為主題的創作,對他人的美學理論或看法、生存環境與整體社會價值觀作出回應。第五章解析作品,分析繪畫的元素和技法及理念等。最後第六章則為結語,經過研究所的過程對於創作的影響和發展,到目前對於藝術的看法及意義,作一個階段性的總結。
    There are big differences between insects and human beings, such as size and body structure. The reason I choose Insects to create the artworks is because of my personal growth. I think that human beings are a subject and insects are an object. When people observe insects, the differences between them bring about imagination and self-reflection. Therefore, my artworks present the observations. At first, I focused on the detail of insects’ body structure to depict how they use their body against gravity. Then, I choose cockroaches, which are strong and adapt themselves to different conditions, to be a main character of the paintings. Most people are disgusted with cockroaches, but admire their viability. Therefore I tried to present this tricky relationship. Recently, I combine insects and human beings. Those human being look like insects and lives in a simulative world. The contents of the article divided into six chapters, The first chapter is the creative motivation in the description. The second chapter explains the way I create my works, and Taiwan's cultural influence my thinking to make works. The third chapter I reference other theories to survey my works, including explore the relationship between man and nature in 《The Classic of Mountains and Seas》、Jean Baudrillard for the view of modern society and Ito Jakuchu 's works, With the view of others to survey myself. The fourth chapter I describe my creative process, my Subject is Mimicry, I collage a strange form to show my view, and response to art history. In the fifth chapter, I Analysis of elements、techniques and ideas in my paintings. The last chapter I make a conclusion of my research in this phase.
