Abstract: | 本研究旨在探討國民小學教師知覺之品格教育效能感及其學校關懷氣氛之現況,並探究兩者間之關聯性。本研究係採用問卷調查法,以「品格教育效能感與學校關懷氣氛之調查問卷」為研究工具,針對中部地區之苗栗縣、台中縣、台中市之國民小學教師,進行立意抽樣,共計抽取550位教師作為研究樣本,合計回收505份,問卷回收率91.81﹪;有效樣本共475份,有效問卷率為86.36﹪。並以SPSS統計軟體進行描述統計、多變量變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關,以及多元逐步迴歸等統計方法,對研究資料進行分析。歸納本研究分析之結果,獲致以下的結論:一、本研究驗證了「品格教育效能感」與一般的「教師效能感」為兩個不同的構念。二、中部地區國小教師所知覺的「品格教育效能感」、「學校關懷氣氛」均呈現中間值偏正向。三、在品格教育效能感上,年齡、教育工作年資、擔任職務、學校規模、學校地區等變項均達到顯著差異水準,其餘背景變項則否。四、在學校關懷氣氛上,學校規模、學校地區達到顯著差異水準;性別和班級規模在該面向,則未達到顯著差異水準。五、教師的品格教育效能感與學校關懷氣氛間具有顯著正相關。六、在學校關懷氣氛各層面中,以「尊重(學生)」對於整體教師品格教育效能感的預測力最高。本研究依據研究結論,對學校行政人員、教育行政單位、國小教師、師資培育機構、家長及社區與後續研究,提出各項建議。 Abstract The purpose of this study was to inquire teachers’ sense of efficacy for character education, their perceived caring atmosphere in school, and the relationship between these two variables. A questionnaire including teachers’ sense of efficacy for character education and school caring atmosphere was administered to a sample of 550 elementary school teachers in middle Taiwan. 505(91.81%) were returned, and 475(86.36%) were valid. Data was analyzed with SPSS using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation, MANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as followings:1. The examination of discriminant validity indicated that the “efficacy for character education” can be treated as a different construct from the conventional “teacher efficacy”.2. Teachers generally possessed a relatively positive attitude both in efficacy for character education and in school caring atmosphere. 3. There were significant differences in teachers’ sense of efficacy for character education among different age, years of service, school size, school location. 4. Significant differences in school caring atmosphere were found among different school size and school location.5. There were positive correlations between every aspect of efficacy for character education and that of school caring atmosphere.6. School caring atmosphere was found to be a significant predictor for elementary teachers’ efficacy for character education, especially the “respect among students” perceived by the teachers showed the highest predictability. According to the findings, some suggestions were provided for principals, administrators, teachers, parents, community, and further studies. |
