Abstract: | 由於微小膠體的吸附與過濾現象是綠色製程的一個重要單元操作,而膠體的布朗運動現象在其吸附過程中是不可被忽視的。本計劃主要目的是利用電腦模擬理論和實驗方法來探討具有布朗運動效應和不同粒徑分佈的膠體粒子在 Kuwabara 流場中,經過顆粒狀球形收集器時的過濾吸附行為。在膠體粒子粒徑大小選取方面,採用正規高斯粒徑分佈函數。另外,對於膠體粒子在收集器上存在的遮蔽效應(shadow effect),本研究也分別考慮當膠體粒子們進行單層吸附與多層吸附時的吸附情況。由於本計畫的膠體理論吸附模式較為複雜, 故本計畫預定執行三年. 其中第一年將著重於理論模式的分析, 電腦模擬程式的執行和粒徑分佈影響過濾實驗的初步執行,模擬過程中將考慮已吸附的膠體對後續吸附的膠體所產生的遮蔽效應影響(effect of shadow area). 第二年, 將著重於膠體粒徑影響的過濾實驗執行和理論模式準確性的驗證. 第三年將針對前兩年的實驗結果, 對上述的理論公式再進行修正, 並補足不足的實驗數據. Since the Brownian motion behavior of colloids plays a key role on determining their deposition rates in the filtration process, which is an important unit operation of green process. Hence, by using the Brownian dynamic simulation method and the Kuwabara flow field model, the main purpose of the present thesis is to investigate the effect of the size distribution on the multi- layer deposition morphology of Brownian particles onto a spherical collector, at which the effect of the interaction forces of DLVO theory is also considered. In the present thesis, the type of normal Gaussian size distribution is adopted. Applying with the available data of parameters, the present model is also compared with the available experimental results. This proposal will be a 3 years proposal. In the first year, we will concentrate one the establishment of Brownian dynamic model, in which the shadow effect caused by those deposited particles will be considered. In the second year, we will carry out a series of filtration experiments with the consideration of particle size distribution. Then, at the third year, we will compare the theoretical results with the available experimental data. |
