    Title: 慈濟志工訪視關懷之社工專業探討

    Abstract: 慈濟是目前台灣最大的非營利組織,但不同於其他的社會福利機構,慈濟是以志工為主體來進行訪視關懷的服務,因此本研究欲透過社會工作專業的觀點來探討慈濟訪視關懷的面貌。本研究以質性研究中的深度訪來蒐集資料,以慈濟的社工和負責訪視關懷的志工為主要訪談對象。本研究結果如下:一、訪視志工訓練重在組織精神的傳遞與內化但培訓課程帶來最主要的效果,其實是將組織的信念與精神深嵌志工的腦海中,使其對機構產生「內團體」(in group)的凝聚力和認同感。二、組織特性主導訪視關懷的流程與決策證嚴法師認為訪視是慈濟慈善的根基,每位委員(志工)都應該參與訪視;而慈濟成立之初,所有訪視都由證嚴法師親自帶領志工們到貧窮人家進行關懷。此外,雖然各地志工每個月舉辦的個案研討會,但最後的服務結果仍需呈報回指導師父手上。因此組織特性主導了慈濟訪視關懷的流程與決策。三、專業社工與志工以夥伴關係相互合作社工和志工在慈濟的訪視關懷中各司其職,各有不同的角色和任務。志工有豐厚的社會歷練、強烈的助人熱忱,以及深耕社區的服務普及性和即時性;而社工的專業性與教育和督導的角色,使得兩者相輔相成。故多數受訪者,皆表示彼此是相互尊重和平等的夥伴關係。四、以案主為中心的思考來貫穿訪視關懷志工在提供服務時,證嚴法師不斷要求志工需以平等心看待案主;因此有任何的決定,包含提供大愛台拍攝的意願、志工清掃環境和修繕房屋等事項,皆會詢問案主與家屬的意見,並以其意見為服務基礎。五、慈濟訪視關懷與社會工作專業之契合度高慈濟對志工的各式課程規劃,與一個社會福利機構在培養新進社工人員的課程是雷同的;就訪視關懷的內涵來看,與其他以社工為服務主體的社會福利機構亦是相似的。而依循慈濟訪視關懷的架構檢視,在每一個階段所採取的方法和態度,也大多與社工專業中的諸多概念相符。六、慈濟文化的宗教性格緊扣社會工作助人和以人為本之精神宗教慈善是社會工作的源頭,慈濟本身雖非基督教與天主教,但宗教的助人精神卻是一樣的。佛教中常提到的「無緣大慈、同體大悲」,以及慈濟人常講的「但願眾生得離苦」等,都是利他主義的實現。
    TzuChi is the biggest non-profit organization in Taiwan. TzuChi volunteers provide home visiting services. It’s not the same as other organizations that provide services by social workers. I used methods of qualitative studies to proceed to the study. Furthermore, I took semi-structured interviews to collect materials from social workers, employees and volunteers in TzuChi.There are six findings from this thesis.First, the training lessons for volunteers emphasize to deliver and to go deep into TzuChi’s spirit and cultures. Second, the leader of Tzuchi Dharma Master Chen-Yen and the characteristics of TzuChi guide the process and decisions about the home visiting services. Third, professional social workers and volunteers in Tzuchi have different roles and tasks. Moreover, the relationship between social workers and volunteers is equal and interdependent.Fourth, when volunteers do everything during the services process, they always considerate of clients’ feelings, positions and willingness. Fifth, the volunteers training, the content and the structure of home visiting services are related to social work professional. Lastly, TzuChi cultures fit in with the cores of social work spirit-the altruism and helping people who are in plight.
