漢寶德先生是二十世紀後半?引?台灣現代建築思潮的主要舵手,促使本地建築從戰後的日本粗懭主義與中國宮殿式建築的桎梏中解脫,而接軌國際現代建築的潮?。漢先生的建築作品多在七十與八十?代間,???多,卻走出?自己的獨特風格。他的主要作品大約可以分為?個階段,第一個階段為的幾何風格時期,主要在七十?代,呈現出形式主義對國際風格的批判。第二個階段為大乘建築觀時期,主要呈現在八十?代之後,它?同於前階段的學院感,作品表現的比較感性?漫,接近大眾的趣味,也表達?對後現代?史主義的反?。漢先生的作品開啟?戰後台灣建築的新視野,對建築專業的影響無人能出其右。 Professor Han Pao-teh is the principal helmsman who led Taiwan’s modern architectural trend of thought in the second half of the 20th century, setting local architecture free from the shackles of Brutalism and Nationalism, to align with the modern architectural trends of the world. The number of Han’s works in architectural design is not considered to be many, yet have forged through their own unique style. Han’s principal works can be divided into two phases, the first phase which was influenced by the geometric style of Late-Modernism, mainly appearing in the 1970s. The second phase showed romanticism and more diverse sentiments, mainly appearing in works after the 1980s, All these designs were quite influential in their times. The paper attempts to examine the contribution he has made towards advancing the culture of modern architecture in post-war Taiwan.
