The main purposes of this research are to present the experiences of five college students, who participated Fu-Chih life education program, in terms of life story, and inquire the mental process and life changes before and after attending this program. The researcher collects the data by using indepth interview. In addition, the ‘holistic-content’ and ‘categorical-content’ approaches of narrative research are applied to analyze the life stories of these students and thus classify their experience of attending this program, and their life’s changes before and after this program. After careful analysis and classification of the data, several conclusions are made as follow:1. Concerning the participants’ life story1.1 There is a difference among participants in terms of when to inquire the meaning of life. They proceed from unaware stage, inquiring stage, to comprehensive stage.1.2 It is rarely found for the participants to spend equal time in their meaning-finding stages. This finding has something to do with family background, personality, active inquiry, and intention toward life.2. Concerning the participants’ life changes before and after this course2.1 The Fu-Chih life education program improves participants cognitive changes.2.2 The Fu-Chih life education program improves participants behavioral changes.2.3 The Fu-Chih life education program improves the participants' conceptual and attitudinal change about life.3. The Fu-Chih life education program has a positive influence on participants in their lives. Finally, according to the abovementioned findings and conclusions, the researcher provides some suggestions for further study.
