| Abstract: | 本研究以經驗現象出發，考察現代金融雖然為社會帶來諸多便利，但不時即以金融危機傷害社會，造成人們財富損失。金融曾幾何時脫離了社會，並以它自成的邏輯運作，甚至反過頭牽制每個個人？這是本研究的核心關懷。透過社會學對金融正當性的梳理，本研究企圖指出現代金融對社會進行強力的支配，社會往往習焉而不察。然而一旦有人企圖對金融系統進行檢視，即刻要順著它建構的檢查邏輯與規則，透顯出金融系統對社會的抵抗性。就本研究觀點來看，首先，金融正當性來自於長期金融歷史過程中，特別社會對於流動性資金之渴望；其次，金融本身是被社會建構的科學，它鑲嵌於啟蒙以來理性科學意識形態，令投機行動成為可計算，可預測。金融的專業發展，使它逐步劃定邊界，界定自身的運行規則以及被檢查的方式。研究結果表明，金融高度技術化、市場化的後果即是背離社會價值發展，社會必須以歷史的智慧省思金融與社會之關係，並從知識教育及監理政策全面改革。關鍵字：過度正當性、金融邊界、金融技術化、現代金融
This research, drawing on historical events, aims to analyze why modern finance brings forth lots of advantages while hurting the society occasionally and making the public lose a huge sum of money. Is it true that finance has distanced itself from the society, established its own logic and thus dominated every one of us in the modern society? That is the main concern of this research.This research, based on the notion of over-legitimacy, explores how the modern finance dominates the society in a powerful manner, which, however, tends to be taken for granted and be ignored by the public. Moreover, once people try to examine the financial system, they are obliged to follow its rules and logics which further shows how the system is distanced or even deviated from the society.This research argues the legitimacy of the financial system is growing in history, that is, what happens in the history is grounded on the fundamental needs of the society, which includes the long-term inspiration for the mobility of capital. In addition, the legitimacy of the financial system is the construction of science which, embedded in rationality, makes speculation accountable. Furthermore, the professionalism in finance sets the boundary in terms of rules and checking methods of finance.It is concluded in this research that the consequence of highly technicallized and marketized finance is its deviation from the value of the society. Therefore, the wise reflection of this history, the academic training, and the new regulatory system are required for a deeper understanding of finance.Key words: over-legitimacy, boundary of finance, technicallized finance, marketized finance, modern finance |
