本研究針對Max Weber 的未竟巨著《經濟與社會》，一方面以文本的分析，對《經濟與社會》一書進行文本脈絡的詮釋；另一方面，以版本的比較，對迄今為止共六個不同時期、不同編纂者的版本加以考察。並提出「建構－重構－解構」三個階段做為《經濟與社會》一書的詮釋與繼受架構，即韋伯自己的《經濟與社會》、做為遺稿的《經濟與社會》，以及《韋伯全集》的《經濟與社會》。此外，為深入瞭解《韋伯全集》的《經濟與社會》，本研究將陸續訪問參與《韋伯全集》的《經濟與社會》編纂工作的主編學者們，現身說法提供第一手詮釋，同時亦呈現了韋伯研究的最新狀況 Chih-Cheng Jeng This study aims the torso Max Weber's: Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft. One side, the text was analyzed, in order to interpretative the context of this monumental work; and the other side, the different versions (editions) of this work was compared, in order to grasp the different views of point in six versions (editions). This study suggests that the Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft can be divided three phases, namely the "construction-reconstruction-deconstruction". This three phases will be interpreted correspondingly the Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Weber's (1909-1920), as a posthumous work Weber's (1921-1975), and as a historical-critical edition of Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe"(1976 until now). Besides, in order to understand deeply the historical-critical edition of Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe", this study has interviewed the Editors. The interviews have offered the elaborative interpretation, and have represented the current development of research about Max Weber.
