有人說是Excellent，因為師資與同學都是卓越之士，當然優秀正確說法應當是Executive經理人的意思，因為EMBA是為經理人量身打造的MBA學程。

Tunghai University EMBA was founded in August 1999. It was the first EMBA established in the middle part of Taiwan. Not only its beautiful campus scenery, we also have the highest qualified teachers available. The teachers who are here with us have both professional practical and theoretical experiences in the business field. Tunghai University has established the 'IBA' for more than 20 years. We have cultivated countless elites in so many business fields. We encourage our EMBA teachers and students to interact frequently together through outside classroom activities to exchange personal inspiration. This is the most attractive feature of our EMBA department which other schools are hard to compete with.

During the current deflation period, a leader or management of any enterprise cannot survive on single professional skill alone. It is essential to explore and improve oneself by involving into diverse perspectives in order to absorb more experiences. These are what we provide that our EMBA students can not only learn new knowledge from the professors but also assimilate various case studies from their classmates. This is an effective way for students to strengthen their knowledge skills. In order to eliminate the age or experience gap between students, our department has designed Group A and Group B since 2003 fall semester. Group A enrolls students who are in higher positions within enterprises and of less number of students comparing with Group B. Group B, more students are accepted, searches for students who are in managing positions. Moreover, the general requirements of courses for Group A and Group B are also provided differently.

Tunghai EMBA Student Council is the most active EMBA student organization among the other schools in the middle part of Taiwan. We hold many activities on different time schedules, for example, visiting both National and International (Overseas) Businesses, participating several get-together activities, and setting up 'Hei-So' consulting firm, etc. The activities from above combine both practical and theoretical experiences for EMBA students and also improve the whole class friendship.

Our course plan is based on Knowledge Economy Trend in 21st century. Anything that relates to finance & innovation, enterprise e-learning, marketing & innovation, and strategy plan will be the core course of our EMBA department.

(1) EMBA enterprising practical forum series:

The main purpose of the "EMBA enterprising practical forum series" originated by prior graduated students is to promote the theoretical and practical knowledge of management. They also provide outstanding managers an approach to discuss and share successful achievements made by applying what they learned from the courses.

(2) EMBA cross-strait forum series:

In recent years, we have interacted with the EMBA of the Beijing University, Tsinghua University and Nanjing University. With the EMBA cross-strait forum, managers from two areas can have conversations directly and it also provides another gate for both sides business cooperation. Moreover, the forum completes learning platform of each school and makes blueprint of further cooperation to adjust for the economic and trading development in the near future. Therefore, by using these resources, EMBA students from both sides broaden their horizons and achieve the goal of mutual learning.

(3) Visiting overseas regularly to expand international and multicultural horizons:

We periodically hold the overseas (China, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, etc.) enterprise visiting during the summer vacation, such as the Haier of China, Asia, Master Kang, Giant, Want-want, Expo of Shanghai, Jabil Circuit of Malaysia - Green Point Enterprises, Motorola, etc. The students are expected to possess the ability of integrating both theoretical and practical issues, and then understand and broaden their horizons.
