農學院成立於71學年,目前有畜產與生物科技學系(所)、食品科學系(所)、餐旅管理學系(所)。師資陣容均延攬自國內外專家學者,教職員人數約45人,學生人數約1200人。
各系所具特色,且與民生議題習習相關,如何整合各系所專長,並針對建構休閒農漁牧教育、確保飲食與衛生安全、研發保健食品、強化居住環境品質、餐旅服務技能及休閒遊憩管理、生物科技技術帶給生活上之應用等教育議題,建立優質民生科學為本院重要特色與重點。
